Olive drab reads modern and grounded. Woven in Morocco by Beni Mrirt weavers from premium wool, the surface is carved into a maze of stepped channels for quiet dimensionality. After weaving, the pile is clipped and hand‑sculpted; the channels are intentionally irregular in micro ways that betray the maker’s hand. Premium, lanolin‑rich wool builds a thick, resilient body. The pile is indulgently plush and naturally soft, improving acoustics and comfort in busy rooms. Use it to bring structure without relying on pattern: the maze reads like shadow and relief rather than print. Pair with oak, limewash, and textured linen for calm contrast. Custom sizing is standard; our workshop recalibrates the carving map so the design holds together at any scale. All stages—spinning, weaving, carving, washing, and finishing—happen in the same region of Morocco, preserving craft knowledge. Wool’s natural resilience simplifies upkeep—vacuum lightly and rotate seasonally for balanced wear. The experience is quietly luxurious, true to Beni Mrirt weaving.
